Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson has a lot of pressure on his shoulders heading into college football Week 1

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is lucky he wasn’t ejected early Saturday as the Cardinals took on the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington.

The Cardinals were up 7-0 when a scrum broke out near the goal line. Jackson didn’t exactly try to get out of the way and ended up getting taken down as he scrapped with one of Kentucky’s defenders.

No doubt his teammates love him for his willingness to fight for them. Though, in the future Jackson should be a bit more willing to walk away.

Jackson and the Cardinals went up by two touchdowns shortly afterwards. Last year’s Heisman winner has been perfect as a passer with 82 yards, and he’s added 43 yards on the ground.
