Alabama head coach Nick Saban

Even when the Alabama Crimson Tide don’t take the field on a Saturday, Nick Saban still pulls off a big win. This time, Saban flipped five-star safety recruit Daxton Hill from the Michigan Wolverines.

Hill, rated as the top safety prospect in the 2019 recruiting class and the No. 8 overall prospect in the country by 247 Sports, took to Twitter to announce he flipped his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

A native of Oklahoma, Hill strengthens Alabama’s recruiting class even further and solidifies its place atop the rankings as the best recruiting class in the country. This news is a big win for Alabama and the night will be even greater if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa wins the Heisman Trophy.
