As we all know, the San Francisco 49ers and head coach Jim Harbaugh officially parted ways after Sunday’s home victory. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who rose to the occasion and managed to lead a struggling 49ers to Harbaugh’s last win, posted this tribute on his Instagram.

Kaepernick’s quarterback future now rests with an unknown coach at this time. Gone is the security blanket that kept him shielded and helped him grow as a quarterback. He must now step up and perform under a new head coach.
