The fall out from the blockbuster DeMar DeRozan and Kawhi Leonard trade is still being felt throughout the NBA world.
On Wednesday morning, the San Antonio Spurs traded Leonard to the Toronto Raptors along with Danny Green in exchange for DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a 2019 first-round pick (more on that here).
As NBA players start to react to the trade, one of DeRozan’s former teammates in Toronto isn’t top happy. Just check out what current Los Angeles Clippers star Lou Williams had to say about the trade.
I’m hurt bro. I’m hurt. My dog gave that city and organization his heart and soul. He was loyal to the soil and got stabbed in the back.

Williams suited up with DeRozan in Toronto back in 2014-15. He’s obviously taking this trade personal.
For his part, DeRozan has been a fixture in the Toronto community since being a first-round pick all the way back in 2009. It has to be a bitter pill for him to swallow.
