Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry suffered an MCL sprain in his knee and is considered week-to-week.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski didn’t have a timeline for Landry’s return when asked Monday and said he was unsure if Landry would need to be placed on injured reserve. If he is, he would miss at least three games.

Landry was injured on the second play of Cleveland’s victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday. Landry limped off the field after being tackled at the end of a 9-yard reception.

Odell Beckham Jr. missed his second consecutive game Sunday as he continues his comeback from a torn ACL. However, Beckham could make his 2021 debut in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears if all goes well in practice this week.

Browns tight end Austin Hooper was quarterback Baker Mayfield’s top target Sunday, catching five passes for 40 yards. He was targeted five times.

Landry has six catches for 80 yards on the season.

Mayfield went to the locker room briefly after his shoulder “kind of popped in and out” after trying to make a tackle on Texans safety Justin Reid, who intercepted Mayfield in the first half.

“Nothing too serious,” Mayfield said after the game.
