Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb missed last week’s game against the New England Patriots after testing positive for COVID-19. Today, the organization activated Chubb from the reserve list, putting him on track to take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Backup running back D’Ernest Johnson filled in for Chubb last week. Johnson had 19 rushing attempts for 99 yards, tacking on seven catches for 58 receiving yards.

This season Chubb has 120 rushes for 721 rushing yards, including six touchdowns. Chubb also has caught eight passes, totaling 69 receiving yards for the Browns across seven starts.

The Browns also activated running back Demetric Felton off the COVID-19 reserve list.
