Clemson coach Brad Brownell has agreed to a contract extension through the 2025-26 season.
The deal was announced after university trustees approved it on Friday.
According to the Greenville News, Brownell will make $2.6 million this season, $2.75 million the next two seasons and $3 million the following two campaigns.
The 52-year-old Brownell is the winningest coach in program history with a 201-150 record through 11 seasons. He has guided the Tigers into three NCAA Tournaments, including a run to the Sweet 16 in 2018.
“Brad continues to be a great leader and ambassador for our men’s basketball program,” athletic director Dan Radakovich said in a statement. “In addition to being our all-time winningest coach and advancing to the NCAA Tournament in one of the most challenging years in recent memory, he continues to maintain a focus on academic performance.”

Clemson went 16-8 last season and lost to Rutgers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Brownell has four 20-win seasons during his tenure with the Tigers.
“None of this would be possible without the outstanding young men I’ve coached and dedicated assistant coaches and staff who have worked alongside me the past 11 years,” Brownell said in a statement. “I am blessed to continue to coach at this great University and I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish, both on and off the court, and look forward to continuing our program’s upward trajectory.”
