There’s no other way to put it. Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw is the man. The three-time Cy Young winner is also a very kind man.
In celebration of the Rams first season back in Los Angeles, the veteran pitcher gifted the organization 200 custom-made bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue.
Yes, you read that right. Johnnie Walker Blue. It’s that whisky you see in stores that goes for about $200 a pop. The same scotch whisky that will cost you about $30 a shot at adult establishments.
The specific bottles, titled “Johnnie Walker Blue Label: Year of The Ram” have the following engraved on them.
“WELCOME HOME. LA ALL DAY.”
In announcing the gift while showing excitement for the Rams return to Los Angeles, Kershaw had this to share.
“It’s awesome to welcome the Rams back to Los Angeles. LA is a great sports city and I’ve loved playing baseball here. I know our loyal LA fan base has been waiting for this moment for a long time. To celebrate their return and welcome the Rams back to our city, it seemed fitting to send the team limited edition bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label: Year of the Ram.
