We’ve seen two high-end players get paid big time over the past few days. Such is the nature of the beast around the NFL with teams preparing for the regular season.

It’s possible a third Pro Bowler could be added to that list here soon. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs are working on an extension with troubled wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

As La Canfora notes, any extension is complicated by recent off-field problems surrounding the youngster. Hill was investigated earlier this year in connection to alleged child abuse.

While the NFL has noted that it will not discipline Hill and no charges have been filed, it did quiet down previous reports of a possible extension. Remember, the three-time Pro Bowler pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges during his college days.

Hill, 25, is coming off a dominating third season in the NFL that saw him record 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns.
