The Chicago White Sox reinstated outfielder Luis Robert from the injured list ahead of Thursday’s doubleheader against the visiting Detroit Tigers.

Robert, 23, landed on the IL on Tuesday after reporting flu-like symptoms. He is hitting .305 with eight doubles, one homer and six RBIs in 21 games this season.

Chicago also placed rookie left-hander Garrett Crochet on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to Monday) with an upper back strain.

Crochet, 21, is 0-2 with a 1.00 ERA in eight relief appearances this season. He has eight strikeouts in nine innings.
