After what Charlie Casserly recently said about Kyler Murray, take what you’re about to read he said about Josh Rosen with a grain of salt.
Appearing on NFL Network Monday, the former general manager turned television analyst absolutely blasted Rosen, basically saying he’s lazy, aloof and unreliable.
Charley Casserly now blasting Josh Rosen.
"Doesn't work hard enough. Doesn't study enough. Doesn't connect with teammates. Goes off the game plan."
"Josh Rosen, when you go to your new team, you find out what time the janitor comes in. Then you come in and open the place up."

For what it’s worth, one of the NFL’s preeminent statesmen, Larry Fitzgerald, seems to have a different take on Rosen after spending a year working with him in Arizona.
Larry Fitzgerald on Josh (via the pod): “He’s a great teammate, really insightful. Just great to be around and he’s somebody who’s really trying to learn, always. He’s inquisitive about life and ppl like that usually find a way to be successful bc they just put the effort in.” 🤷🏻♀️ https://t.co/XV8jaAnb8D

It’s also worth pointing out that Rosen certainly knows how to study. During his freshman year at UCLA, he learned the team’s playbook in just three days.
Also, for the love of all that’s good and holy let’s not rush to judgement about a quarterback who had a bad rookie year playing on one of the league’s worst teams.
