As the NFL community awaits the official unveiling of the 2019 NFL season schedule, the Los Angeles Chargers got into the spirit with a tremendous “Pop Tarts” Twitter thread.
Taking aim at all 13 of their opponents (which were already known), they compared each one to something Pop Tarts related.
That, ladies and gentlemen, wins the NFL offseason. The cheese and mustard I could have done without, but really, A for effort.
In all seriousness, the Chargers have turned off their fans in a major way the past few years. This was a fun, positive way to engage at least some of them.
