Chargers donate $250K to Los Angeles food bank to combat coronavirus

As the nation continues to hunker down amid the growing coronavirus pandemic, the Los Angeles Chargers are giving back to their community.

Lindsey Thiry of ESPN shared Monday evening that the Chargers have donated $250,000 to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help people who are in need during this crisis.

We’ve seen many athletes and teams in other pro sports show extreme generosity during these trying times. J.J. Watt and his wive, Kealia Ohai, recently donated $350,000 to the Houston Food Bank, and Zion Williamson is among a handful of generous NBA players who has donated significant funds to help people in his community.
