The Cleveland Cavaliers will head into Thursday’s NBA trade deadline having to make at least one big move in order to be considered serious contenders back east. That’s how bad it has gotten for LeBron James and Co. in recent weeks.
Cleveland is coming off a 32-point home loss to the Houston Rockets and has dropped 13 of its past 20 games. Of those 13 losses, nine have come by double-digits. It’s been absolutely brutal of late. This has led to widespread speculation that the Cavaliers will look to trade for a top-end talent, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan included.
In being asked how Jordan might help his Cavaliers, an unnamed player provided potentially the quote of the year.
Asked one of the #Cavs how much DeAndre Jordan could help right now and he said “Montell Jordan could help us right now.”

Put your name behind that, because it’s absolutely grand.
Cleveland will “get it on tonite” with the Orlando Magic, two days before the NBA’s trade deadline. No word yet on whether Montell Jordan will be on hand to help the Cavs provide some “payback” after an early-season loss to Orlando. Yes, our pun game is really strong here.
