Let’s see people attempt to spin this to make new Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen somehow look bad. Less than a week after being selected No. 10 overall, the highly divisive former UCLA quarterback is out here doing something nice in the name of a former NFL player and his deceased daughter.
It was just over a year ago that tragedy struck former Baltimore Ravens tight end Todd Heap and his family. In an accident that is almost too sad to comprehend, Heap killed his then three-year-old daughter when he accidentally ran her over in the family’s driveway.
Thursday would have been Holly Heap’s fifth birthday. And in attempting to keep her memory alive as well as pay tribute to a young life that was cut short way too soon, the Heap family is making May 3rd “Hugs From Holly” day.
Where does Rosen fit into this whole thing? He’s helping spread joy into someone else’s life by tipping an employee at a sushi restaurant a cool $300 following lunch with his mom.

That’s all sorts of amazing right there. Good on Josh for the gesture.
We join everyone in hoping the Heap family the best moving forward. We know it has to be an extremely difficult time for Todd and those closest to him. Let’s all join in spreading some joy and telling those closest to us just how much they matter in the name of Holly.
