Vancouver Canucks forward Tanner Pearson will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing a second surgery on his hand, general manager Patrik Allvin announced Thursday.

Pearson, 30, has been sidelined since sustaining the injury in a game against the Montreal Canadiens on Nov. 9. He underwent the initial surgery the following day.

Pearson has totaled five points (one goal, four assists) in 14 games this season.

A Stanley Cup champion with Los Angeles, Pearson has collected 272 points (133 goals, 139 assists) in 590 career games with the Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins and Canucks.
