Montreal Canadiens forward Tyler Toffoli is expected return to the lineup for Saturday’s home game against the Ottawa Senators, interim coach Dominique Ducharme said.

Toffoli, who is listed as a game-time decision, has been sidelined for the last three contests with a lower-body injury. He skated with Jonathan Drouin and Jesperi Kotkaniemi on Saturday morning and also participated with one of the team’s units on the power play.

Toffoli, 28, sustained his injury during Montreal’s 3-2 overtime loss to Vancouver on March 19. He sat out the following day’s 5-4 shootout win versus the Canucks as well as the team’s two games following a series of postponements.

Toffoli has recorded a team-leading 18 goals and a club high-tying 27 points in 30 games this season, his first with the Canadiens. He signed a four-year, $17 million contract with Montreal in October.

Toffoli has 327 points (163 goals, 164 assists) in 555 career games with the Los Angeles Kings, Canucks and Canadiens. He was selected by the Kings in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft and captured a Stanley Cup title in 2014 with Los Angeles.
