Bucs’ DB Isaiah Johnson hurt after crashing into wall behind end zone

What started off as a fairly routine throwaway pass from Ben Roethlisberger turned into a violent collision between Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defensive back Isaiah Johnson and a wall.

Roethlisberger’s throw was well out of the end zone. But neither Johnson or Pittsburgh Steelers’ receiver Xavier Grimble seemed to realize that. As a result, Johnson ran into the wall at full speed.

Not surprisingly, he had to be checked out by the medical staff afterward. While football offers plenty of dangerous plays, what happened here is generally not one of the risks.

Fortunately, Johnson came off of the field under his own power.
