Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and fellow forward Khris Middleton have been ruled out of Thursday’s game against the visiting Washington Wizards.

Antetokounmpo, 27, returned from a one-game absence with right knee soreness to collect 25 points and 17 rebounds in Milwaukee’s 126-98 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.

The two-time NBA MVP is averaging team-leading totals in points (29.7) and rebounds (11.6). He also has chipped in 5.8 assists in 60 games this season for the Bucks (45-27), who are tied with the Philadelphia 76ers for second place in the Eastern Conference.

Middleton, 30, sat out Tuesday’s game and will miss his second consecutive contest with a sore left wrist. The All-Star forward is averaging 20.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 59 games this season.
