Milwaukee Bucks forward Joe Ingles is nearing his return from a torn left ACL and could play Monday against New Orleans, ESPN reported Friday.
Playing for the Utah Jazz at the time, Ingles sustained the injury at Minnesota on Jan. 30 and was ruled out for the season. He was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 9, had surgery two weeks later and signed a one-year, $6.5 million deal with Milwaukee as a free agent on July 6.
Ingles must complete a final 5-on-5 workout on Saturday with no issues before playing for the first time in nearly 11 months, ESPN reported.
Ingles averaged 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 45 games (15 starts) for the Jazz before the injury.
The 35-year-old Ingles played 590 games (313 starts) in eight seasons with Utah, averaging 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. He is a career 40.8 percent shooter from 3-point range.
The Bucks host the Jazz on Saturday before heading to New Orleans for their game with the Pelicans.
