Deflategate has New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady facing some heat due to the fact that he is linked to possibly having knowledge that the team used deflated balls in the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts. Some folks believe Brady did not do anything wrong while others see him as a serious cheater.
Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine appears to fall into the latter category, as he shared this with Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com when asked about the Brady situation.
I’ve always had a lot of respect for him. But I lose a lot of respect for guys who cheat.
This is an interesting comment coming from Pettine considering that Browns’ general manager Ray Farmer was suspended as a result of texting from the sidelines—a violation of NFL rules.
However, Farmer’s no-no pales in comparison to the potential punishment the highest profile player in the NFL is facing.
