Columbus Blue Jackets forward Sean Kuraly will be sidelined approximately six weeks due to a left oblique strain, the team announced on Friday.

There are exactly six weeks remaining in the Blue Jackets’ season. They play their last game against the visiting Buffalo Sabres on April 14.

Kuraly, 30, sustained the injury during practice on Thursday.

He has 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) in 59 games this season.

Kuraly totaled 115 points (48 goals, 67 assists) in 406 career games with the Boston Bruins and Blue Jackets.
