Portland Trail Blazers forward Nassir Little will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The surgery will be performed by Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Little, 21, was injured in the fourth quarter of the Trail Blazers’ 109-107 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves last Tuesday. Little collected 20 points and eight rebounds in 29 minutes prior to the injury.

Little was averaging career-best totals in points (9.8), rebounds (5.6) and assists (1.3) in 42 games (23 starts) this season.

He is averaging 5.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 138 career games (30 starts) since the Trail Blazers selected him with the 25th overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.
