Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Tyrel Dodson was arrested over the weekend and charged with disorderly conduct, assault (intentionally recklessly injure) domestic violence and damage to property of less than $2,000.

TMZ Sports shared the news of Dodson’s arrest on Thursday, and Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News confirmed it with a copy of his police report:

The arrest occurred at a nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dodson is said to have gotten physical with his girlfriend.

The Bills released a standard statement acknowledging knowledge of the incident:

“We are aware of the incident involving Tyrel Dodson last weekend. We have been looking further into the matter and will continue to gather information as the legal process continues.”

Dodson was an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M this spring. He started 12 games and had 61 total tackles last fall as a junior for the Aggies.
