Beer Park to host USA Basketball viewing party with free beer

By Vincent Frank

What better way to watch Team USA prepare for the upcoming Rio Summer Olympics than to watch the squad while drinking free beer?

The fine folks over at Paris Las Vegas have made this possible by putting together a viewing party this upcoming Friday (July 22nd) when the U.S. Men’s Basketball team takes on Argentina in the first of five exhibition games before the Olympics.

“The USA Basketball vs. Argentina game is the first of five domestic exhibition games and training camps conducted by the USA Basketball Men’s National Team, the company’s press release read on Friday. “In addition to showing the game on dozens of high-definition televisions, the rooftop restaurant and bar will offer ample entertainment for guests, including a photo booth, two Shock Top basketball hoops and games such as pool, oversized Connect4 and Jenga. Beer Park serves more than 100 beer selections and an array of signature menu items.”

The viewing party will take place at the Beer Park venue, which includes a 10,000-square-foot deck that overlooks the Vegas strip.

On a personal note, this one scribe is moving to Vegas. Unfortunately, it won’t be in time to enjoy what should be an amazing event.

Las Vegas. Free beer. Basketball. Olympics.

Who could ask for more?

Besides, it will also be our first opportunity to watch Kevin Durant play next to his new Golden State Warriors teammates, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans are more than welcome. Just don’t be obnoxious drunks when your former MVP celebrates with his new teammates.
