Bartolo Colon return MLB

Four-time MLB All-Star Bartolo Colon was not able to latch on with a team last season after spending the past 21 years in the bigs.

This isn’t stopping Big Sexy from attempting to make a comeback. Set to turn 47 in May, Colon wants another shot on the big stage. He’s currently back in his native Dominican Republic working out, and looking pretty darn good in the process.

A cult favorite of many fans, Colon last pitched for the Texas Rangers in 2018. He posted a 7-12 record with a 5.78 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 28 appearances (24 starts).

A former Cy Young winner, Colon is a few years removed from earning an All-Star appearance as a member of the New York Mets.

There’s still a chance some team will give him an opportunity on a minor league deal. We’re rooting for it to happen.
