Baltimore Ravens veteran Willie Snead is already comparing Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown to a couple of the greatest players ever.

Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown = Joe Montana and Jerry Rice

Speaking with Tyler Dunne of Bleacher Report (h/t B/R Gridiron), Snead said, “you can definitely compare them to Jerry Rice and Montana or some of the other crazy combinations, QB-receiver duos. I think these two are going to set their own mark in history.”

No pressure, guys.

Jackson is coming off a unanimous NFL MVP season in 2019 — his first ever as a full-time starter. He’s clearly one of the top young quarterbacks in the league. And the sky is the limit for what he may do as a pro.

Brown has also shown tremendous abilities. As a rookie in 2019, he hauled in an impressive 46 receptions for 584 yards and seven touchdowns.

But to compare these two youngsters to Montana and Rice is quite a bit of projection.

One thing is certain: We can’t wait to watch them try to live up to those expectations.
