Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti and his wife, Renee, have been a godsend to the local community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the United States states.

Already an altruistic couple in every sense of the term, the two have decided to donate $1 million to the Maryland Food Bank to help the organization with the growing need for food assistance in the state.

This is no small thing. The socioeconomic landscape of the current pandemic has placed into question the ability of needy families to get food during these most difficult of times.

We’ve seen it on a never-ending loop. Needy families waiting in line for hours simply so they can put food on the table that night. It’s one of the unintended consequences of the pandemic.

The Ravens have been major figures in helping lift up the local community in the past. We’ve seen it on multiple occasions. This is just the latest example.
