Corey Seager to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left hip

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is already recovering from Tommy John surgery. On Thursday, he’ll undergo another operation with arthroscopic surgery on his left hip.

Beyond the fact that he’s still on track to be ready for spring training, there is one other positive thing to take from this. At least he’s dealing with these two injuries simultaneously and doesn’t have to miss even more time. Still, it’s not exactly great to see a 24-year-old dealing with serious injuries.

Seager played 26 games in 2018 prior to his season-ending injury. He hit .267/.348/.396 with two home runs.
