Cardinals still undecided about No. 1 overall pick, GM says

It seems inevitable that the Arizona Cardinals will use the No. 1 overall pick to select Kyler Murray, but general manager Steve Keim says there’s been no decision made yet.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, just over a week before the Cards are on the clock for that No. 1 pick, Keim said the team is “not done with the process” of making a decision.

Really, this has been one of the most fascinating storylines to follow ever since Kliff Kingsbury was hired as the head coach. He’s on record as saying he wouldn’t hesitate to take Murray No. 1 overall, and the Cardinals have been very unconvincing in their efforts to prop up Josh Rosen as “their guy.”

Of course, Keim and Co. could just be trying to get a king’s ransom for the No. 1 pick, too. At this point, anything is possible.

Next Thursday cannot come soon enough.
