The Denver Broncos could be in some trouble Sunday against the New Orleans Saints without two top defensive stars. Gary Kubiak announced on 104.3 The Fan that cornerback Aqib Talib and defensive end Derek Wolfe would both be out for the upcoming road game.

Aqib has already sat out two games due to the back injury that currently plagues him. He’s expected to hopefully return after the team’s bye in Week 11.

Wolfe suffered an elbow injury that could keep him out for up to four weeks, though he could potentially also return after the bye based on the timeline he recently shared.
Derek Wolfe said he's out minimum 2 weeks; maximum 4 weeks. #9sports

The Broncos struggled last week against the Oakland Raiders without Talib. Though, it must be pointed out that Oakland’s success largely came on the ground.
The Saints feature the No. 3-ranked passing offense in the NFL and should test Denver’s depleted secondary. But without Wolfe, the Broncos are susceptible to being destroyed on the ground, as was demonstrated by the Raiders.
This is something the Saints will likely attempt to capitalize on during the game Sunday in New Orleans.
