Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict were once bitter enemies as players on rival AFC North teams, but now they’re teammates on the Oakland Raiders.
Of course, many have openly wondered whether there could be some lingering bad blood between the two players, especially in light of Burfict’s ridiculous dirty hits against Brown over the years.
Responding to all that talk, Brown wants to squash it before it takes on a life of its own. In the process, he’s accusing the NFL of trying to spark a war.
Honestly, it’s not hard to like what Brown wrote.
“Yea things happen in the field with all due respect it’s in the game ! After the the game there’s real life and we do have personal lives families as real human beings! Encourage your brother do not beat them down or create a war amongst them we already fighting enough wars! Empower your peoples inspire your brother encourage someone not bind them by circumstances.”
That’s some deep stuff, and it’s all kinds of awesome.
