Now here’s a wild story. Former MLB star Angel Pagan was out at sea with Orlando Román, a former pro baseball player, and a minor, when a 15-foot wave capsized their vessel.

Thankfully the two were both rescued off the coast of Puerto Rico, per Paul Ramos of Con Las Bases Llenas.

Per Ramos, “The boat capsized between the river mouth and Cibuco beach in the town of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico.”

Pagan played 11 years in MLB, spending time with the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets and San Francisco Giants. He won the World Series as a member of the 2012 Giants team and finished his career with a .280 average, 64 home runs and 414 RBI.
