The news just keeps staying positive for Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala ahead of Game 3 Wednesday evening as the Warriors attempt to take a 3-0 NBA Finals lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
One day after saying Iguodala was questionable for Game 3, head coach Steve Kerr said Iggy will be a “game-time decision” and that he is “leaning in the right direction,” per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Then after warming up before Game 3, Iguodala got clearance to play.
Golden State wing Andre Iguodala will make his return tonight in Game 3 of The Finals against Cleveland, league sources tell ESPN. He’s missed the past six games with a knee injury.

Iguodala hasn’t played since Game 3 of the Warriors’ Western Conference Finals series against the Houston Rockets. He’s been dealing with a bruised knee that ended up being more problematic than anyone thought it would be initially.
Thankfully for Iguodala, the Warriors have been able to continue winning games without him. If he’s able to play and play well, then Iguodala’s addition to Golden State’s lineup will only further strengthen this team’s ability to repeat as NBA champions.
