While Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James might want New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis in Los Angeles, Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry made it clear that isn’t happening any time soon.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Henry made it definitively clear that Davis is not being traded whatsoever and will remain with the Pelicans moving forward.

Gentry’s comments come after James said it would be ‘amazing’ to play with Davis in Los Angeles.

Several league executives then became upset with the NBA for the league’s failure to respond to James’ apparent tampering.

Two things are clear. The NBA is not going to pursue any action against its best and most important player, while James will not see his wish granted any time soon as Davis isn’t being traded away this year.
