Alonzo Moore scored on a 62-yard touchdown reception to open the scoring on the way to a 100-yard day, as the New Jersey Generals defeated the Pittsburgh Maulers 21-13 in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday.

Moore got loose behind the Maulers’ defense midway through the first quarter as De’Andre Johnson rolled out and found him downfield for a walk-in touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

New Jersey never trailed in the game.

Moore finished with three catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. Johnson, who split time with Luis Perez, completed 9-of-10 passes for 98 yards and no interceptions.

Pittsburgh pulled within 21-13 midway through the fourth quarter on a Ramiz Ahmed 39-yard field goal. But that was as close as the Maulers would get.

Tre Walker had a big day for Pittsburgh with nine catches for 110 yards.
