Drone footage from the Silver and Black Today drone shows rapid progress on roof and other elements of Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas.
Heavy rains and a nationwide crisis over the COVID-19 virus haven’t curbed Allegiant Stadium progress as the Las Vegas Raiders new stadium under construction hasn’t skipped a beat.
Due to heavy winds in Las Vegas on Saturday, our usual weekly drone video over Allegiant Stadium is very short. But, in just about a minute you get a good look at the Allegiant Stadium signage which is now completely hung on the facility’s southeast-facing facade, closest to Interstate 15 and Dean Martin Road.
Las Vegas saw record rainfall this week but construction crews were able to tarp off internal portions of the stadium most vulnerable to weather. That includes luxury suites, hallways, and other areas that can be damaged by the elements. No damage was reported and construction crews have worked throughout the wet week.
The Garth Brooks Allegiant Stadium concert was also a big hit this week. The first non-football event to be hosted at Allegiant Stadium sold out in just under 75 minutes. All 65,000 seats were accounted for as one of music’s biggest draws christens Allegiant Stadium.
