Lightweight contender Jim Miller took to the UFC Octagon for the record 36th time Saturday evening in Las Vegas, breaking a record previously held by Donald Cerrone. He did so as an underdog against Vinc Pichel and having to take part in a prelim bout after recent struggles.

Things did not go any better for the 36-year-old New Jersey native and UFC legend. Miller lost via decision against Vinc Pichel after seeing his counterpart land 41 significant strikes compared to 14 for Miller. Pichel also connected on only 36% of his attempts compared to 53% for Pichel.

Needless to say, this was not the rebound performance Miller was hoping for. He now moves to 4-7 in his last 11 bouts and could very well be done at this level. The UFC world reacted accordingly.
