Detroit Tigers reliever Gregory Soto was absolutely on fire Friday night as his sinker reached 100 miles per hour on a strikeout of Matt Davidson.

Soto came into the game in the seventh inning against the Cincinnati Reds and retired the side in just eight pitches. His strikeout pitch of Davidson registered at exactly 100.4 miles per hour.

Here’s how Soto looked facing the three batters he retired.

Just an incredible showing from the 25-year-old flamethrower, who has been red hot since the start of the season.

Here’s how MLB Twitter users reacted to watching Soto dominate in his Friday evening outing.
