When video emerged of Goedert getting hit at Zoo Bar in South Dakota on June 19th, it sure looked like he was sucker-punched by Hadala.

If you haven’t seen the video, we’ve got you covered.

Goedert had been out with family that night celebrating a birthday.

Dallas Goedert and assault suspect have two different stories

According to his version of the story, Hadala and another man “kept saying disrespectful things,” per Les Bowen of The Inquirer. Goedert says he attempted to resolve the situation peacefully before he was hit in the face. The blow knocked him unconscious, but thankfully he was deemed okay after a short hospital visit.

Hadala recently told TMZ Sports a different version of events. He accused Goedert and his friends of “harassing” him and his friend at another bar before following them to Zoo Bar. Then, he says they “made threatening remarks” to a friend in his group.

“At this point, I was in fear for both of my friends’ well-being especially due to the fact there were 10 of them and we were not familiar with the area,” Hadala told TMZ Sports. “I protected my friend and then was ambushed by 5 to 7 individuals that punched, kicked, threw beer bottles, etc., trying to cause me bodily harm which I received medical treatment at the hospital for my injuries the next day.”

Hadala also said he received stitches for multiple lacerations received in the fight that ensued.
