Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill released from hospital, issues statement

Bidwill spent several weeks traveling across the East Coast, where the team believes he contracted the virus. After experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus, Bidwill underwent a test and it was determined he had COVID-19.

Fortunately, after just a few days in the hospital, Bidwill is now home and recovering. Now with the symptoms starting to go away, the 55-year-old owner is opening up about his experiences with the coronavirus.

Bidwill’s willingness to open up about what he went through offers a tremendous look into the experiences of those who went through symptoms. Of course, he also made sure to thank health care workers who have made incredible sacrifices during this pandemic.

Unfortunately, he does join a growing list of NFL personnel who have contracted COVID-19. It’s estimated that at least a third of NFL teams have had at least one positive case and the numbers will skyrocket when testing begins before training camp.
