Washington Post columnist eviscerated on Twitter over column about how we need less sports

Washington Post columnist Norman Chad penned an utterly ridiculous and rambling article entitled “The pandemic has reminded us: We don’t need more sports in our lives — we need less.”

The column literally has no real point that I can gather, and Chad never really provides a solid reason for the asinine headline.

As the article circulated on Twitter Sunday, fans and analysts alike wasted no time whatsoever eviscerating it, and the author.

It was — how do you say? — ratio’d to infinity and beyond.

And for what it’s worth, the wild success of UFC 249 on Saturday night proved without a shadow of doubt that we do, in fact, need more sports in our lives.
