Nebraska football players could face pandemic enforcement citation for partying

A couple of Nebraska football players could be in some hot water after being busted for throwing a party in their home over the weekend.

The two football players, 21-year-old Corbin Ruth and 19-year-old Riley Moses, were cited “for maintaining a disorderly house after being called to their home near 14th and Fletcher on a loud party complaint,” per ABC 8 in Nebraska.

This wasn’t the first time these two had the cops show up at their house, either. Per the report, Ruth and Moses had the police at their home on May 7. At the time, they were “educated” about the gathering restrictions in place due to COVID-19, per the report.

On Sunday night, more than 10 people were in the home. Some of them were minors (including Moses). Neighbors told the news station that parties are frequent at this address.

As a result of this latest incident, the police report will be forwarded to the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. It will “determine whether a pandemic enforcement citation will also be issued to Ruth and Moses.”

Per the report, the Nebraska Athletic Department has yet to issue a response to this incident.
