The “All In Challenge” presented by Fanatics has been a godsend for those most impacted by the ongoing worldwide pandemic.
The idea of said challenge is for celebrities to offer up perks to fans through auctions and sweepstakes with the money going to help feed the needy during these most difficult of times. As of Friday morning, it had help raise north of $45 million.
New Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is now doing his part. The first-year head man announced via the team’s official website a contest that will allow a fan to help script the first 15 plays of a preseason game this coming August.
“Giving back is a core component of who we are as an organization,” Stefanski said, via the team’s official website. “With the global pandemic, it’s really important we step up when there are others in need. Just look around at the frontline workers, the health care workers, they’re stepping up right now, they’re working tirelessly, they’re working courageously and it’s really inspired our organization to join the All In Challenge.”
Said fan will be invited to a team meeting and dinner the night before the game, be presented with sideline passes, run through the tunnel with the team and take part in the coin toss.
This really is an awesome. It’s also the latest example of the sports community doing its part to help those most impacted during these trying times.
