Report: Bills sign ex-Redskins' CB Josh Norman to one-year, $6 million deal

Less than a month after being released by the Washington Redskins, Pro Bowl cornerback Josh Norman has signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Norman, who celebrated his release emphatically early this offseason, will reunite with general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott. The 32-year-old cornerback worked under McDermott, then the Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator (2011-’16), and enjoyed his best success under his now head coach.

After earning All-Pro honors in 2015 then signed a five-year, $75 million contract with the Redskins in 2016, Norman never lived up to his contract. He recorded just four interceptions across 42 games with the Redskins.

Norman will likely step in as Buffalo’s No. 2 corner opposite of rising star Tre’Davious White. If he can recapture some of his old form, the Bills will boast one of the best secondaries in the AFC.
