Pete Alonso took the MLB world by storm in 2019 with an epic rookie season. Now, as the New York Mets star prepare for a new season, Alonso has set a hilarious goal for 2020.

When asked what he wants to accomplish this season, Alonso told reporters that his goal is quite simple. He wants to finish the season drunk on a parade float in New York City as he hoists the World Series trophy for all the fans to enjoy.

While it might be a lofty goal for the 25-year-old, he’s proven he can accomplish incredible things. He broke MLB’s rookie record with 53 home runs this past year and emerged as one of the biggest, young stars in baseball.

If the Mets’ rotation stays healthy and a few of Alonso’s teammates in the lineup step up, he could easily accomplish his goal. Let’s hope he does, because everyone wants to see the “Polar Bear” happy and drunk in a parade.
