USA Basketball officially announced its preliminary 44-man roster ahead of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

The names can’t be considered too surprising. They include the top names the United States has to offer. That includes Los Angeles Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

They are joined by the Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, of the Golden State Warriors. The headliners don’t stop there. Reigning NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers is joined by new teammate Paul George as members of the preliminary team.

The roster will end up being whittled down to 12 players in June with the Olympics officially set to get going on July 24.

The expectation here is that most, if not all, of the players who are chosen for the final roster will accept the invite to Japan.
