Jerry Jeudy has unusual reason for wearing Star of David necklace

Jerry Jeudy delivered some wild plays throughout his collegiate career at Alabama. As he met with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine, the star receiver offered an even wilder explanation for why he wears the Star of David necklace.

The Star of David, often seen as a symbol of Judaism, hangs across Jeudy’s chest and drew attention during Alabama’s bowl game. Jeudy wears the necklace not because he’s Jewish, but because some people call him “Jeu.”

There are always some memorable quotes that come out of the NFL Combine every year, but Jeudy’s explanation for the necklace is one of the strangest. Whereas the symbol carries tremendous spiritual reasoning for many, it appears Jeudy likes the fashion aspect of the necklace.
