Chiefs HC Andy Reid hasn’t thought about retirement

Many wondered if Andy Reid might consider retirement if the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, but the coach said Monday that he hasn’t thought about it.

Reid gave a tip of the cap to Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes while making it clear he still has passion to coach and “come to work every day.”

Reid also had a solid-gold quote about what he did overnight after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in stunning comeback fashion.

After the game, he said he’d be celebrating with the “biggest cheeseburger you’ve ever seen,” and it’s clear the old ball coach is on Cloud 9 after finally winning the big game.

Based on how Mahomes has progressed in his first two years as a starter in the NFL, Reid may feel refreshed and energized for years to come. The relationship between these two men is only just starting to unfold, and there very well may be more Super Bowls in their future.
