The AFC Divisional Playoff game got off to a disastrous start for the Kansas City Chiefs. It only got worse after wide receiver Tyreek Hill was shaken up following a bone-crushing hit from Houston Texans safety Justin Reid.
After Hill muffed a punt inside the 10-yard line to set up Houston’s third touchdown, he tried to make up for it on the next drive. He created separation on third down and was poised to make a huge catch until Reid lowered his shoulder and utterly destroyed Hill.
Hill stayed down on the ground for several moments with trainers by his side and checking in on the team’s top receiver. While he was able to make it to the sideline, he was still in obvious pain on the bench.
Already trailing 21-0 with Houston’s offense rolling, the Chiefs are in serious danger of suffering one of the most humiliating postseason losses in franchise history.
